We build fully integrated plants that process calcite - the primary filler material for dozens of industries including paper, plastics, paints and food - at the highest purity and the required micronised fineness. At IPS Makina, we offer calcite crushing and grinding lines optimised according to hardness and whiteness analyses, with low energy consumption.
Product Range
Calcite Plant Process Stages
Crushing & Pre-Screening: Passing quarry stone through primary and secondary crushers to reduce it to the mill feed size.
Washing & Sorting (Optional): Removal of impurities from the raw material to increase whiteness.
Precision Grinding (Mill Section): Reduction of the material to micronised level using ball mill or vertical mill systems.
Dynamic Air Classification: High-precision separation of the required sub-micron particle size and return of coarse particles to the mill.
Surface Coating Unit: Homogeneous coating of calcite particles with chemicals such as stearic acid under hot mixing.
Automatic Packaging & Big-Bag Filling: Valve bag filling or bulk loading systems.
Our Technical Advantages
• Precise Particle Size Distribution: Advanced classifier technology achieving narrow particle size distribution (D50 and D97 values).
• Minimum Contamination: Wear-resistant liners and specialist coating solutions that preserve product purity and whiteness throughout the production line.
• Low Operating Cost: Optimised mill motor and inverter systems delivering minimum electricity consumption per tonne.
• Dust-Free Operation: Closed-circuit operating system and high-efficiency jet-pulse filter units.
